About Me

I have spent my career helping children, adolescents, and adults through periods of anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health issues, be it their own or a loved-one’s.  With over twenty years of experience, I am empathetic to the profound impact that emotional stress can have on the quality of one’s life.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Bowdoin College, followed by a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.  Subsequently, I worked at West Bergen Mental Healthcare where I gained extensive experience helping individuals and their families cope with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and personality disorders through individual and group therapy.  With a desire to help a broader population on a more individual basis, I earned my MSW from Columbia University, and ultimately my LCSW.  Since then, I have been expanding my experience and expertise and am excited now to offer therapy in my own practice.

I am passionate about helping my clients live the rich, fulfilling and happy lives they deserve.
